AboutVanivo is based in Portland, Oregon and serves businesses throughout the Willamette Valley and Western Washington. Closely-held businesses are our passion, and we love to help any way we can. Our corporate expertise is design and technology, but since we’ve worked with so many businesses, we know the small business world exceptionally well. What differentiates us from other businesses is our free business consulting. We never charge anyone to listen to their situation and offer our advice. What does ‘Vanivo’ mean?
We wish we could come up with an interesting back-story for our distinct name (say: vuh-NEE-voh), or an acronym it could stand for, but the honest truth is that our name is just as unique as the company. Since we provide such a broad range of solutions, we decided to come up with a distinguishing name to help our name stand out in our clients’ minds. After many weeks of random word generation, Latin and Greek root word study, and trademark searching, we invented the word ‘Vanivo’ to represent our unique business. |

Vanivo was founded by Nick Buck-Niehaus and Tony Kau in 2007. Nick excels in graphic and layout design and oversees the production work of our teams. He is an avid photographer, and enjoys spending his free time photographing everything from cityscapes to wildlife. Tony has a passion for business development and handles most of the administration for Vanivo. He enjoys reading business books in his spare time and participating in the equity options market.
